We help hospitals and executives identify the training, experiential, and awareness elements that executives
need to become more successful health care business executives; and we assist the executive through ongoing
consulting and coaching to achieve and develop these elements.
The purposes of the Key Executive Leadership Development service are to assist hospitals and executives in
evaluating specific executive management development needs; and to provide career planning and executive
coaching services to help hospitals and executives to achieve better performance.
The Key Executive Leadership Development service application is for hospitals and executives:
- to better identify what the individual executive needs to do,
- the timeframe under which it should be done,
- the resources available and recommended to undertake a formal effort of preparation for a next step
responsibility or to help turn around performance of the executive.
Key Executive Leadership Development consists of a Professional Profile, a Summary Action Plan, and the
Consulting associated with implementing and monitoring the Plan.
The Professional Profile is created by identifying strengths, weaknesses, concerns, and goals for the executive.
In addition, the executive’s background, accomplishments, and aspirations are summarized within this Profile.
- The information used in developing the Professional Profile will come from the executive and the hospital.
- The information may also come from others.
- The Professional Profile will also utilize the specific issues and opportunities present at the hospital.
The Summary Action Plan utilizes the Profile findings, information coming from interviews with the executive
and others, the results of several questionnaires, and an evaluation of the executive’s overall suitability for the
current step of responsibilities or next step.
- This will include the specific and general elements that need to be added or accomplished to improve
the executive’s profile, the time frame under which this should occur, and the anticipated outcomes.
- The Summary Action Plan will be developed in line with the present and future needs of the hospital.
- The schedule for the Summary Action Plan will include a patterned approach of ongoing evaluation of
the executive’s progress.
The Consulting consists of monitoring the Summary Action Plan and evaluating progress.
- This includes the regular, ongoing evaluation of the executive’s progress, and associated written reports.
- This further includes any changes or adjustments needed and ongoing evaluation of current circumstances.
- The Consulting is planned to occur over a 12 month, or less, period.
